Church Meetings in Acts – Introduction
About two years ago, I wrote a blog series called “Meeting with the Early Church“. In that series, I commented on several passage written by early Christians about their church meetings.
Monday, I will begin a new series in which I plan to examine the passages of Scripture from the Book of Acts which refer to a meeting of believers.
There are many passages in Acts that refer to the church. However, there are not many passages that specifically indicate that believers were “gathered together.” I’m going to look only at those passage that indicate a gathering.
Here are the passages: Acts 1:15, 2:1, 2:44, 4:31, 11:26, 12:12, 14:27, 15:6, 15:30, 19:9, 20:7, 20:17. Do you know of others?
