Scripture… As We Live It #119

This is the 119th passage in “Scripture… As We Live It.”

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, to go to church which is your spiritual corporate worship. (Romans 12:1 re-mix)

(Please read the first post for an explanation of this series.)

typical “going to” Sunday morning service, Sunday evening service, Wednesday evening prayer meeting in a typical institutional church. Funny how everyone, at least I did, thinks there is something wrong with this but most never ask why. I guess you do what you know, in our flesh we are creatures of habit.

That’s not to say that you can’t offer yourself as a living sacrifice when you go to church is it?

Paul sure had that wrong. Glad you tidied this up, Alan.
