Scripture… As We Live It #236

Posted by on Nov 25, 2012 in as we live it, scripture | 2 comments

This is the 236th passage in “Scripture… As We Live It.”

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. But, of course, the days will be even more evil in about 2000 years. You won’t believe how awful it will be then. (Ephesians 5:15-16 re-mix)

I love this! It amazes me how folks can think the Roman government provided a benevolent oversight through the early days of the church. I suppose part of the perspective today is the same pattern over the centuries where the older generation believes the younger generation and the culture are “going to Hell in a handcart.”

Look carefully then how others walk, not as unwise men but as wise guys, making the best use of tomorrow ourselves, because I’m busy right now.
