Satirical Exegesis

I don’t know about you, but I love good satire. And a friend of mine, Dan, from “Hollow Again” has written an excellent series on exegesis and Hulk Hogan (Yes, I did say Hulk Hogan) called “An Exegesis of the Demandments” (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, and Part 5).

Since some of my readers may not be “Hulkamaniacs”, this introduction may be helpful:

According to Mr. Hogan the way to live a good and meaningful life is to:

Train, say your prayers, and eat your vitamins.

These three rules for life are commonly known as the Three Demandments. Over the next few days I will write a brief exegesis of each of the three Demandments. Since, according to the Hulkster, they are so important to living a proper life, I feel it is vitally important that we understand each in great detail.

I think you will find Dan’s exegesis of the Demandments very interesting. You may even find your favorite exegetical method satired. Enjoy!
