U23D

Posted by on Apr 13, 2008 in personal | 4 comments

Yesterday afternoon, my son, Jeremy, and I watched the U23D movie at the IMAX theatre in Raleigh. I was completely blown away! This is the best concert movie that I’ve ever watched. The band played songs that stretched across their career. Bono and the Edge were excellent, as expected, but I was also impressed with Adam Clayton (bass) and Larry Mullen, Jr. And, now, Jeremy is a U2 fan. Has anyone else seen this movie?

    Alan,

Our hearts seem to share a love for the same “music”, but not our ears!
Must be my lack of hair!

I love U2. I didn’t know you liked them. I’m learning new things about you everyday.

How long is that running at IMAX?

I saw the Mystic Nile there about a year ago. I really like IMAX movies.

    I’ll see you on Tuesday.

    Aussie John,

The “heart love” is much more important.

    Dougald,

Yes, I’m a big U2 fan – I have been for many years – starting back in the early 80’s.

    Alan,

Good to hear that you were a U2 fan back when most people hadn’t a clue who they were. I’ve been a fan since 1983 with their hit song, “Sunday Bloody Sunday.”
