What is God doing?
One of the questions that I like to ask people is this one: “What is God doing in your life?” Usually, people have to think about it awhile, but most eventually recognize that God is working in their life.
What is God doing in my life? He is teaching me how to love and serve people who are different than me. This is a very uncomfortable lesson for me, and much less “theoretical” than other lessons.

For me personally he has been showing me that all the changes I am starting to make in the way I view Christianity must involve action.
He is showing me the often, people just need a listening ear rather than a lecture.

Yes, I’m learning through action as well, which is the main reason that it is uncomfortable. But, I’m also finding it to be a huge blessing.

Yes, forgiveness is very difficult, but also very freeing.

Alan so much. The biggest part is my part in the body of Christ and my obligations to other Christians, both those who I agree and disagree with. The biggest is since I have been dealing with ecclesiology that I don’t swing the pendelum to the other side and start to “bash” those who have a high view of the organized structured and institutionalized body life. So learing how to love others where they are and being able to love those who are quite different and those whose Christian experience may be something I disagree with. Bro, just flat out loving folks I guess. It is much easier to deal with theology, doctrine, and the like and it is much more difficult to get at it with folks (build solid relationships that transcend differences).

I guess it is scarey because there were groups that I was accepted by who find this very dangerous
