Scripture… As We Live It #265

This is the 265th passage in “Scripture… As We Live It.”

And Judas and Silas, who were themselves prophets visiting preachers, encouraged and strengthened the brothers with many words were mentioned and acknowledged from the pulpit during the pastor’s sermon. (Acts 15:32 re-mix)

    You must have translated the scriptures used in this country. You verse reflects the usual practice.

    I always enjoy these posts! They cut straight to the point.
    I would love to see you gather them into a book– a coffee table book.
    I would definitely buy it!

    The world lives Phillipians 4:13 as “I can do all things if I just believe.”
    However, the church (especially in its eschatology) often lives as if it says, “I can’t do anything until Jesus comes again.” or “Jesus can do all things while I sit back and watch.”

    Remember: He is the Head and we are the Body. He works His will out THROUGH us.
