Therefore, O King Agrippa, I [Paul] was not disobedient to the heavenly vision [I saw on the road to Damascus], but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins. Now those who were scattered because of the persecution that arose over Stephen called to be “church planters” and trained as interns in the Jerusalem church traveled were sent to plant churches as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except Jews. But there were some of them who were trained in cross-cultural ministry, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who on coming to Antioch spoke to the Hellenists also, preaching the Lord Jesus from the pulpit of their churches every Sunday morning. This is the 180th passage in “Scripture… As We Live It.”

And they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. And when they had come up to Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them. So, passing by Mysia, they went down to Troas stayed in that region waiting until God told them exactly where to go and what to do. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” And when Paul had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go on into Macedonia, concluding because, as our leader, Paul told us that God had called us to preach the gospel to them. And one of them, a lawyer, asked him [Jesus] a question to test him. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he [Jesus] said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God ensure you have proper doctrine with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor join a church that believes as yourself.
