This is passage #62 in “Scripture… As We Live It“:

The grace of facts about the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of knowledge about God and the fellowship of theological description of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2 Corinthians 13:14 re-mix)

    Alan,

    How utterly familiar that is.

This series of posts are often times simply brilliant. I feel like this fits right into your last post “A huge problem with ‘house church'”.

This idea that the knowledge of God is the most necessary and important thing to have when starting a house church, is not the most scriptural attitude. I understand that going to seminary or studying theology in college is a great thing to do, but the most important thing for any church to have and to practice, is the grace of God, the Love of the Savior, and the Fellowship of the Spirit.

These things are more important, the knowledge and education is a perfect supplement, but the above things are absolutely necessary, and are perfectly capable to stand on their own.
