Some useless information: Thomas Crapper, was a plumber, who was, erroneously credited with inventing the flush toilet.
Hence the appropriateness of your word.
I agree with your sentiment! With a church musician, I examined the songs in a popular hymn book, 60% of the songs centered on “me”.
That post really resonates with me. I mean, what WAS that song writer thinking?
This is a good reminder. I used to focus so much on the first song being fast and simple (enthusiastic start), the song before prayer being slow and soft (bring tears before prayer) and so on. I would even get irritated when someone would deviate from what I thought was the basic order for a worship service.
By the way, a friend of mine had a gathering at his home this past Sunday. He texted me and told me it went well. I’ll call him today and get more details. He followed a lot of what we have been finding about the church gathers. I’m looking forward to hearing about it.
The comments on the post are awesome! It’s so funny how many people missed the WHOLE point of the post. They were trying to disprove his arguments with quotes from the Psalms that he uses IN his post. Too funny!

Dan, it’s worse than that. Not only did that happen (and I just saw a new post doing exactly that), but there were people commenting to agree with “me” (i.e. with the views I was presenting in just).
