A useful how-to guide for avoiding conviction
My friend Dan at “The Ekklesia in Southern Maine” has written a blog series on how to avoid conviction. He writes about avoiding conviction caused by teaching, the examples of others, reading Scripture, and the Holy Spirit.

This is a how-to guide on how to avoid those awful feelings of conviction that sometimes nag us on our Christian walk. I hope you find it helpful in relieving those annoying feelings of guilt and painful realizations that you may need to change.
There are certain situations that lead one to feel convicted. Each situation requires a different strategy in avoiding said conviction.

It is great to see you back writing again. I trust you and Steph and the kids are doing well. These posts were incredibly well-written, and quite funny. I enjoyed them immensely. Just wanted to let you know that.

We are doing well, and I am glad to be back to blogging. I would like to blame my absence on writers block but sadly I cannot overlook the fact that my writing has increased as football season has come to an end (sure the Superbowl is still ahead of us but the Patriots were knocked out two weeks ago so THAT was when the season really ended). Seriously though, I’m glad you enjoyed the posts.
