Would you be interested in writing a guest post for my blog?
Since I started this blog almost six years ago, I have posted several “guest blogger” posts. Usually, these posts came to me originally as emails from people who were asking me questions or telling me their stories. I would ask them if I could publish the emails as guest posts, and they usually agreed. Of course, if they didn’t agree, then I wouldn’t publish the emails/posts.
Last year, I began to ask people to write guest posts for my blog. I was extremely happy with the posts that people sent me. They were from different people in different contexts with different backgrounds. And, each guest blogger wrote from different perspectives. While I did not agree with everything that was written, I certainly learned from each one.
I would like to continue publishing guest posts. Several people are writing guest posts for me now. But, I would like to make a wider appeal.
Would you be interested in writing a guest post for my blog?
I only have a couple of requests: 1) The post should be related to the church. 2) The post should be less than 1000 words, or it should be divided into multiple posts.
If you would like to write a blog post post for my blog, leave a comment and/or send me an email at aknox[at]sebts[dot]edu.
Also, if you’ve written a guest post for me before, I’d love to hear about the experience, both working with me and interacting with my blog readers. Again, you can leave a comment and/or send me an email.
Alan,
I loved my guest post experience with you in the past. Maybe I will try to write another one.
Your blog is one of the blogs about church that exists. You write in gracious and kind way, but never bland or boring. Your posts are thought-provoking and insightful. And there is no better blog audience!
I thoroughly enjoyed working with you in the past for my guest post on your blog.
Hey Alan,
Thanks for this appeal – would love to write a guest post for you.
I emailed you a couple of weeks ago about something else – did you receive it.
Kind regards,
ps enjoyed the elders and financial benefits series!
Jeremy,
Thanks for the feedback! I’d love for you to write another guest post for my blog. I’ve really enjoyed your latest series on baptism. I wrote a series on baptism a few years ago, but some of the Greek fonts were messed up during a database upgrade. I need to fix those.
Andrew,
I’d love for you to write something for my blog. I checked my email, and I can’t find anything from you. Can you send it again?
-Alan
Would love to write a guest blog for you. Any specific aspects of the church you would like addressed?
David,
You can write about anything related to the church (which makes it a broad topic).
-Alan
hi Alan
Id like to contribute to your blog with my limited perspective.
Iv’e been a christian for 40 yrs and have never attended a church.
I have however, been part of a dynamic, quirky and often tumultuous fellowship of believers, often without leadership and always choosing to love rather than be right, when forced to choose between the two.
It has been, and is messy, but I wouldn’t trade it.
Greg
Greg,
Yes, I’d love to publish a post from you. Just send it to aknox[at]sebts[dot]edu. Or, you can email if you have any questions.
-Alan
I have written a guest post for Alan and it was a terrible experience. I submitted my post and he emailed me back telling me how stupid I was.
Seriously though, Alan’s blog is a great place to share ideas where there are plenty of people to respond with (generally) respectful and helpful comments and criticisms.
Sending you an email with a post. Thanks for the invite!
Dan,
I’m nice to everyone except you.
Miguel,
Got it! Thanks!
-Alan
Hi Alan,
Just sent you an email about this. Hope you got it?
Cheers
Andrew,
I got it! Thank you!
-Alan
I join the others who stated that guest posting was a great experience. My own website added subscribers once you posted my writing.
I would be honored to post again with you
Doug,
I’d love for you to write another guest blog post! If you’re ready, you can send me the post in an email. If you’re not ready, shoot me an email and we’re talk about possible topics.
-Alan
