Interview with the authors of Pagan Christianity

Posted by on Jun 18, 2008 in blog links, books | 4 comments

I’ve enjoyed reading the posts and comments of J.R. Miller from “More than Cake“. Recently, he had some questions about Pagan Christianity by Frank Viola and George Barna. So, J.R. contacted the authors, both by phone and by email. He has published his conversations with Viola and Barna in a four part interview which is very interesting and informative.

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

I hope you enjoy this interview. By the way, I also wrote a brief review of Pagan Christianity called “Yet Another Review of Pagan Christianity“.

    Alan,

Thanks for linking to the four part interview with George Barna and Frank Viola. I have not heard of this book until now. I believe I will read it. They seem to summarize quite nicely, the problems that exist in the institutional church.

I also read your review from back in March and i agree with you that most people who read the book will not agree with it. Perhaps even to the point of taking strong issue with it. But, I seriously believe that your average church attender today (including most pastors) are brain washed.

    Blessings,
    Gary
