Scripture… As We Live It #133
This is the 133rd passage in “Scripture… As We Live It.”
One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind (except for December 25th, which everyone knows is the most holy day of the year, and everyone must be convinced of this). (Romans 14:5 re-mix)

The early Christians did not celebrate Christ’s birth because they considered the celebration of anyone’s birth to be a pagan custom.

Not sure how far down I want to go down this path. But it may be good to gain a wider perspective on Christmas and birthdays.
I guess in the spirit of Romans 14:5, it is not for us to judge others on the basis of if they want to celebrate a day or not.
We do “live” many of the scripture far apart from how they are written. I laughed at this one
and here all the time I thought it was Easter! Silly me!
