Scripture… As We Live It #155

This is the 155th passage in “Scripture… As We Live It.”

And they devoted themselves to listening to the apostles’ teaching and to shaking hands with one another during the 2nd verse of the fellowship hymn, to the breaking of bread and to passing out small bits of bread and small cups of juice a few times each year, and the prayers a few of them attended the weekly prayer meeting. (Acts 2:42 re-mix)

    Wait, you don’t think that passing a platter of breads bits or oyster crackers followed by little plastic cups of grape juice, all in complete silence, is what Acts 2:42 is describing?
