Scripture… As We Live It #172

Posted by on Sep 4, 2011 in as we live it, scripture | 2 comments

This is the 172nd passage in “Scripture… As We Live It.”

If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing I’m simply being human, and I know that God doesn’t expect me to love everyone always. (1 Corinthians 13:3 re-mix)

(Please read the first post for an explanation of this series.)

So I’m thinking the point is to post scripture and then add how we actually live into it?

    Mike,

Yes, that’s correct. I “adjust” or “re-mix” Scripture passage so that they say what we actually do. Obviously, they won’t all apply to everyone.
