This is the 253rd passage in “Scripture… As We Live It.”

“…eat meat or drink wine or do anything…” isn’t much of the original verse to keep!
Here is another rewrite:
{(delete)It is good not to} [as the result of long study I have determined that you should not] eat meat or drink wine or to do anything that causes {(delete)your brother to stumble} [me, the “weaker brother” to have to revise my rules].
